The only thing I dislike about the current crimson UI is the power/wattman section, specifically the undervolting part, I haven't bothered with it, as it far easier to just move one slider to -31mv via MSI afterburner. Click Start Click Control Panel Windows Vista: Click System and Maintenance and then System or simply System (in Classic view).

the control panel being one, but on the whole, the UI is vastly better than previous versions.

It reminds me of the people who hate windows 10 just because "change". If your PCs graphics card is manufactured by NVIDIA and you come across the NVIDIA control panel missing error message, it means that your NVIDIA graphics.

People just need to have some patience and be willing to accept change and this is coming from me who hated the UI update when it first rolled out (although more so due to lack of features such as display colour settings). The one thing that really stands out with crimson is the speed, everything is instant where as with the old catalyst centre, it wasn't and nvidia's control panel is even slower to respond. I have no problems finding any feature/control that I need to within seconds, yes at first, it took a few minutes to find what I needed when the UI update first rolled out but this is the same for anyone and any piece of software out there.įor my usage, I can get to anything within 2-3 clicks at the most (be that wanting to change the sync option, AA, FPS limit, enable/disable chill, adjust a recording feature or/and adjust my display settings), all of these things I do are far quicker with the crimson UI than the old catalyst centre.
